What To Do at CNAC 2015
Posted: February 27, 2015
We’re excited to contribute to a local association by speaking at the upcoming CNAC conference in Spartanburg, SC. The College News Association of the Carolinas is an organization for higher education news and public relations professionals. Members work in communications, marketing, publications, media relations, marketing writing, graphic design, web design and content development, social media communications and more.
We’re pumped to hear from some great people from right here in the Carolinas. Below are a few recommendations for anyone traveling to CNAC this year.
- Meet your host institution. Wofford College is a private, liberal arts institution that prides itself on the strength of its academic programs and outstanding faculty.
- Embrace change at Monday morning’s 10:45 am session titled From 0-60 in 90 Days or Less: Launching a Strategic Vision, Branding Campaign and Office Reorganization in Times of Change.
- Network with your peers in downtown Spartanburg. Attendees at CNAC will be meeting in the hotel lobby at 6 pm to head out together to explore the local scene.
- Hear from our friends at Western Carolina University. Robin Oliver will be speaking at 9:00 am on Evolving Your Brand: A Case Study In-Progress.
We were honored when CNAC approached us to speak about content strategy at this year’s conference. Our very own Matt Walters (a former CNAC board member) and Zac Henderson will be delivering the closing presentation on Tuesday at 10:15 am.
