We’re pleased to announce the University of North Carolina at Pembroke has selected VisionPoint Marketing to redesign and develop its public-facing website (uncp.edu). Our team will work closely with Sandy Briscar, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications and Lawrence Locklear, Web Publisher, throughout the scope of work, which officially kicked off this month (May, 2013).

The project comes during an exciting era in UNC Pembroke’s history; the university recently celebrated its 125th anniversary and is scheduled to unveil a new brand identity at the start of the new academic year. Now a comprehensive master’s degree-granting public university, UNC Pembroke harkens back to 1887 when it was founded as school for American Indian teachers. UNC Pembroke’s 14 month-long 125th anniversary celebration was capped by the recent confirmation of its 2013 graduating class – its largest graduating class in university history.

As are most of our projects, this will be a collaborative effort. And we’re thrilled to have this chance to contribute to the advancement of UNC Pembroke. While we’ve only just begun, the website is expected to launch in December 2013. Stay tuned…
