In his work as a professor, Frank Oppenheimer, noted particle physicist and cattle rancher, believed in the Latin proverb docendo discimu, “by teaching, we learn.” While there are some subtle differences between particle physics and higher education marketing, we believe that the same principle applies. That’s why we’re encouraging all of our higher ed marketing colleagues to submit a proposal for the 2016 AMA Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education.

The Call for Proposals is Open Until April 14th!

The Symposium is an annual event that brings together upwards of 1,250 higher ed marketers. It provides an opportunity for marketers from across the country to come together to address the most pressing challenges and trends that impact marketing in higher education.

In the spirit of teaching and learning, we’re challenging you to do more than simply attend. We know that every institution has a unique story to tell. Why not tell yours as a breakout session? In addition to complimentary registration, you’ll have to opportunity to teach and learn from the best in the business.

Get to Know the Planning Committee

This year, we’re pleased to announce that our very own Tony Poillucci, Vice President & Creative Director, has been asked to serve on the conference planning committee. The committee consists of 13 members, most of whom serve in leadership roles at their respective institutions. Only a few higher ed marketing agencies are asked to serve as committee members. Needless to say, it’s quite an honor for Tony to be selected.

The committee’s role is to ensure that the conference provides immense value and exceeds expectations. From keynote speakers and breakout sessions to roundtable discussions and networking opportunities, the committee coordinates every detail to align with the needs and challenges of higher ed marketers.

If you have questions about the AMA Symposium, feel free to reach out to Tony or leave a comment below.

We look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando!
