Sammy Bowen
Senior Project Manager

Bio
At VisionPoint, our goal is to make every client a raving fan, and one huge factor in that relationship building is ensuring that not one project detail is missed. And who makes sure that doesn’t happen? Sammy Bowen. As a Senior Project Manager, Sammy works closely with our Account Services team to organize the myriad of details within any one of our numerous projects. From inception to completion, Sammy helps plan and develop elements that keep our projects on schedule and on budget.
“I serve our clients by ensuring that projects, deliverables, and modes of correspondence are properly planned, as efficient as possible, and ultimately of the highest quality,” Sammy explains.
Sammy is responsible for the initial timeline builds of our client projects, as well as owning and leading the organization of all VisionPoint documentation of client files, deliverables, and objectives. Owning our template and presentation builds, Sammy also makes our client-facing collaboration stronger. Her attention to detail and comprehensive oversight of our documentation and quality assurance process ensures that every deliverable we produce exceeds expectations.
Bringing to VisionPoint a well-trained eye for project management, administrative organization, and documentation, Sammy has honed her skills through a variety of roles in digital marketing, public relations, tourism, and nonprofits. In her previous experience working abroad at WellingtonNZ, New Zealand’s economic development agency and tourism organization, Sammy managed a wide array of details at the organizational level for communication audits, outbrains, and website content in the wake of a major site redesign.
A proud University of North Carolina Chapel Hill alumna, music connoisseur, and animal-rights activist, Sammy takes time outside of work to find her center in yoga, serve up some scrumptious vegan cuisine, sing alongside her boyfriend, or cheer on the Carolina Tar Heels.
