As Chief Client Officer at VisionPoint, Katy works closely with our Business Development and Client Experience Department to draw and drive client interest. She leads our teams in establishing new client relationships, fostering and retaining existing partnerships, and enhancing our innovative insights to bring VisionPoint’s capabilities to life for our partners. As a strong partner advocate with proven success in creative, integrated marketing, and web services, Katy combines proven leadership, a knack for delivering measurable results, and thoughtful strategic consideration.
“Marketing strategy takes the perfect right brain and left brain balance,” Katy says of her role. “We analyze data and explain trends while looking for innovative and creative ways for our partners to shine. We work to become a true extension of our partners’ marketing and communication teams and customize each piece of the project to their needs, audience, and situation.”
With her understanding of partners’ brands and competitive positions, Katy naturally pinpoints strengths that set them apart and drives success for both her partners and team members. Her experience as an Account Director at VisionPoint gives her the added perspective of all the details that surround leading successful projects which allows her to operate with the utmost efficiency.
The strong relationships she forms with our partners are a testament to the way she has approached every aspect of her career, fostering a sense of collaboration to both internal and external team members. She’s simply a delightful person, and partners and coworkers frequently express how much they enjoy working with her.
Before joining the VisionPoint team, Katy was the Director of Marketing and Partnerships for the North Carolina Football Club where she helped lead rebranding and marketing campaigns for both the North Carolina FC and the NC Courage soccer clubs. In this role, Katy honed her leadership and cross-team collaboration skills by acting as the multi-department leader for creative services, communications, corporate partnerships, and ticket departments. Her success was not only qualitative but quantitative as she successfully increased sponsorship retention by 20% in one year’s time.
A proud Wolfpack alumna, Katy holds a B.S. in Sport Management with a minor in Business from North Carolina State University. When Katy isn’t narrowed in on turning out stunning strategic considerations, you may find her roaming Raleigh with her rescue pup, Li’l Sebastian or searching for an incredible find at a local thrift store.
