Vice President of Integrated Strategy
As our Vice President of Integrated Strategy, Holly Simons is an expert among experts. Wielding her multi-decade higher ed experience and marketing strategy background, Holly guides our team of marketing strategists to turn clients’ high-level goals into practical strategy.
“I help our clients integrate powerful brand storytelling with actionable, measurable strategy and achieve incredible results,” Holly explains of her role.
With Holly, our clients gain access to a strategic visionary and industry-leading consultant who has touched nearly every aspect of the higher ed marketing industry. From improving deeper-funnel conversion rates, to closing gaps within particular audience segments, tightening brand positions, building web content strategies, leveraging CRM capabilities, and complementing paid digital strategies with organic efforts, Holly brings synergy to VisionPoint’s brand marketing and enrollment marketing intersection.
Holly also has the invaluable experience of being both marketing consultant and higher ed marketer. Most recently, Holly ran her own successful independent consulting business, providing full-service capabilities to over 40 universities across digital media, brand strategy, campaign development, market research, and more. As former Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at the University of Oregon, Holly’s insights in higher ed marketing were born from well-earned experience in successive enrollment and marketing leadership roles at the university. With her marketing acumen, the university hit enrollment goals consecutively for 20 years.
The zeal and spunk Holly uses to lead our team to form results-driven marketing strategies is motivated by her underlying passion to see those around her do what they love with excitement and excellence. An Oregon girl at heart, Holly spends as much time as she can near a coast, swimming and beachcombing. When she’s not developing a new strategy or soaking in some saltwater, Holly is probably the one laughing the most, hosting an impromptu dance party, or crafting a perfectly-timed pun.
“The cure for everything is salt water. Sweat. Tears. Or the sea.”
