Erik Beene

As a Project Coordinator at VisionPoint, Erik assists our Project Managers in making sure that no detail or deadline slips past our team. Working jointly with our account services, strategy, and creative teams, Erik helps to ensure the continued success of our clients’ projects. 

Before joining VisionPoint, Erik worked at the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, where he oversaw the development of continuing education programs for small businesses owners. A UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a double major in Advertising and Political Science, Erik understands the challenges and workflows that come with projects specific to higher ed.

“Higher education changed my life and made me who I am today,” Erik says. “Having worked in higher ed, I understand the wide-ranging services institutions offer their communities. I am grateful to be able to help these institutions connect with the people they’re meant to serve.”

Erik’s skills as a Project Coordinator translate well into his fascination with urban planning and design – having taken a master’s level elective class for the fun of it in college. But when Erik isn’t dreaming up designs for the perfect city, he’s spending his time with friends, preferably at Chapel Hill’s local dive bar, He’s Not Here.
