Director of Marketing Strategy
Erica, VisionPoint’s director of marketing strategy, earned her master’s in education (Ed.M.) at Harvard University and now applies her specialized skills and knowledge on behalf of our client partners to help them achieve their enrollment and admissions goals. Having researched and studied the world of higher ed, she develops effective strategies and marketing plans that draw on VisionPoint’s various service areas to get client partners where they want and need to be. Her marketing and research experience, as well as her familiarity with the trends and shifts in higher ed, allow her to collaborate across various VisionPoint teams, contributing subject matter expertise and strategic insight across the board.
Erica’s career started in digital consulting at APCO Worldwide, where she worked with client partners across industries – from health care and education to consumer product and transportation. She led the communications efforts for the Georgetown University Institute of Politics & Public Service before pursuing her master’s at Harvard, where her research focused on undergraduate curricular innovation, the future of work, and adult learning in technology-enabled environments. Most recently, Erica served in a brand marketing role at an education technology company that partners with colleges and universities to offer online degree programs.
“Higher education is a fascinating space with many complex challenges,” Erica says. “I’ve found it rewarding to partner with colleges and universities to develop strategies that drive growth and innovation, improve collaboration with the workforce, and foster equitable outcomes for students of all backgrounds.”
Erica begins each morning with a hot cup of coffee and a good podcast. When she’s not helping our client partners succeed, Erica can be found hiking in the mountains, writing, or catching up on Shark Tank.
