As Product Manager for VisionPoint, Benny is a natural problem-solver. He is the pioneer helping to expand VisionPoint’s proprietary technology products, managing its roadmap and listening to customer and market feedback. Benny works closely with all of our teams at VisionPoint, making sure everyone is on the same page with product vision/roadmap, market and competitive landscape, and voice of customer in order to reach company and client goals.
Benny is always looking for ways to improve processes. In his previous roles, he worked with multiple admissions marketing and enrollment CRM companies while also creating a first-of-its-kind student lifecycle CRM that guides students from first inquiry to matriculation, all the way to graduation, and then keeping them connected to the university as alumni. His ability to empathize with stakeholders in the higher ed world comes from more than a decade in the sector, steering his companies’ growth as marketing VPs and product leaders for various edtech SaaS companies. In those roles, he utilized early alert systems to monitor student performance and high-impact practices to provide proactive ways to enhance student success.
“Getting to work with all levels of higher education the past decade has allowed me to better understand the unique challenges and worthwhile goals that different stakeholders have throughout the full student lifecycle journey,” says Benny. “Being able to positively impact their missions by enhancing student experience and improving outcomes has been tremendously rewarding for me on a professional and personal level.”
A South Florida native, Benny is a big fan of the Miami Heat and Dolphins. He loves movies, history documentaries and playing sports but his greatest joy is spending time with his daughter and finding ways to make her smile.
