Pitt Community College Wins NCMPR Gold by Showcasing a Message of Freedom

Recently, VisionPoint’s client partner, Pitt Community College (PCC), won a gold medallion from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) for our work together on the “Freedom” campaign. In the “Social Media or Online Marketing Campaign” category, Pitt showcased their unique graphic treatment and digital creative, including ads for Display, Responsive, SnapChat, Facebook, and LinkedIn. With :15- and :30-second horizontal and vertical video creative, PCC was able to reinforce campaign messaging across all platforms.

This campaign positions Pitt Community College as a ticket to Freedom. Every piece of student research Pitt has conducted points to the fact that the majority of college students obtain an education to improve their lives in one way or another. They’re looking for a better job, to earn a promotion, to fulfill a dream, or to take the next step. In short, they’re looking to improve circumstances for themselves and their families.

Pitt Community College offers its students the freedom to do just that, and NCMPR obviously felt the same. With over 3.5 million impressions so far, PCC’s “Freedom” campaign has led to 40,908 clicks, and 105 leads – all with an overall CPC of only $0.88.
