If you know anything about VisionPoint, you know that our interns are a part of our team from day one. They begin collaborating on projects the minute they walk in the door. We expect to learn from our interns as much as they do from us. We hope that they leave here feeling proud of what they’ve done and prepared to join the professional world. This spring, we are happy to welcome two awesome new interns! I’ll let them introduce themselves and we’ll keep you up to date on everything they’ve got going on throughout the semester.

Content Developer Intern

Hello! My name is TaylorGrace O’Quinn and I am from Wilmington, NC. I attend NC State and will graduate in May with a degree in Technical Writing. After graduation I hope to work for a company where I can contribute my creative and technical skills.

During my time at NC State I have had an amazing experience as the youngest engineering instructor in the Computer Science Department. I spent two years honing my writing skills as a news writer for our school newspaper, Technician. I have also contributed extensively to my alma mater through my role as the English Club President for three years running.

At VisionPoint I am looking to expand my skill set by learning more about the world of content strategy. I am hoping to get involved in as many different areas as I can in order to obtain a more well-rounded wealth of knowledge. I’m excited to get to know everyone and develop long-lasting relationships.

When I’m not at VisionPoint, I enjoying relaxing with my boyfriend, running, journaling, and watching as many movies as my eyes will stay open for.

Project Management Intern

Joining me here at VisionPoint is Purav Shah from Charlotte, NC. He is a junior at UNC Chapel Hill studying Economics with an intended minor in computer science. After graduation he hopes to join the marketing industry for a few years before pursuing a master’s degree.

Last summer Purav spent his time at the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill as a Desktop and Systems Support Specialist. He really enjoyed his time there because he was able to learn computer skills that are invaluable in today’s networking age.

Purav became interested in the world of marketing after he studied the subject in his Principles of Marketing course. In this marketing class he created a detailed marketing plan for a company that increased their sales and, ultimately, increased their revenue.

As an intern at VisionPoint, Purav is excited to learn more about efficient ways to manage projects and communicate in the professional world.

In his free time, Purav loves to play basketball, travel to Raleigh, spend time with his girlfriend, and discover new styles of cuisine.

Our interns are already off to a great start! We can’t express enough how valuable each intern is to our team and culture. If you’d like to learn more about our internship program and what opportunities are available, check out our website’s career page or contact us with questions today!
