How Do You Handle Setbacks?
Posted: November 2, 2011
VisionPointers took time out of their day on Wednesday to attend a Lunch ‘n Learn on How to Deal with Setbacks and Change. While the team brainstormed on potential setbacks and challenges that may occur in their future, most of those mentioned haven’t happened to any of them…..yet. Bankruptcy, loss of job, theft, getting shot, getting deported, natural disasters, and divorce were just a few of those potential setbacks. Major and minor setbacks can occur at any time. Any change in our lives can affect us personally and while at work. The presentation referenced three VisionPoint Values recently adopted by the company: Learning & Growth, Resourcefulness and Empathy. With the ideas presented at the Lunch ‘n Learn, the team is now better equipped with coping skills and ways to increase their strengths to overcome whatever may face them in the future.
