A multi-talented writer, Hannah channels her passion for language into a variety of content for VisionPoint’s clients. Ask Hannah about her role as a Content Developer, though, and she’ll tell you she’s a “translator.” Whether she’s working on a sales proposal or creating inbound marketing content, she listens for the deeper story within an interview or the underlying need at the heart of a proposal request, and translates that into content that motivates our clients to engage with our services. 

 

But what ultimately drives Hannah is the power of language to help our higher ed clients engage their audience, win prospective students, and meet admissions goals. 

 

“I want to read between the lines of what the client is asking for and decipher their needs,” says Hannah, “as well as articulate to prospective clients the story behind the strategies we offer at VisionPoint.”

 

Hannah’s interest in language — and the intersection of context and story — has always driven her career pursuits. She began her career interning as a daily newspaper feature writer, where she published articles on everything from addiction recovery workers to local philanthropic efforts to small business successes. She has also worked as a copywriter in the business and nonprofit world, writing email campaigns, newsletter updates, social media copy, and award entries. 

 

Hannah graduated Summa Cum Laude from Gardner-Webb University with a bachelor’s degree in English, winning awards for her academic work on topics ranging from poetry to contemporary culture. 

 

When she's not crafting a proposal to solve a client's biggest problem, you'll find Hannah laughing and enjoying time with her family or friends, reading a good book (that she may or may not finish), re-watching an 80's movie, or finding a coffee shop that makes her feel like she’s in an up-and-coming indie film.
