VisionPoint Marketing’s leadership duo is very pleased speak at this year’s CASE Conference for Community College Advancement in beautiful San Diego October 3 to 5, 2012! Diane Kuehn, President and CEO, and Tony Poillucci, Vice President of Strategy and Creative, will present an elective session Wednesday afternoon titled, "Governance: How the Five Rs protect you from Frankenstein-ing your website." Joining them on stage will be Wake Technical Community College Associate Vice President of Communications, Laurie Clowers.
"Tony and I are thrilled about the opportunity to share our experiences in website governance alongside our great client partner we have in Wake Tech," Diane said.
After an extensive re-design and development on a new content management system for Wake Tech's website, VisionPoint and Wake Tech worked together to develop a governance plan to protect that investment.
This plan establishes policies and procedures that inform how the institution will manage the process and resources of publishing new content as well as maintaining the integrity of their website.
VisionPoint uses the 5 Rs of website governance to help our higher education clients keep their websites organized and working effectively by creating a governance plan that addresses the unique challenges faced by a particular institution. For example, Wake Tech’s priority was to create a new web presence that properly communicates their value and offerings to a diverse set of constituents and stakeholders across our community.
