In just one week, we are heading to Denver, Colorado to spend four days at the 2016 eduWeb Digital Summit. We will be joined by higher education professionals working in advancement, enrollment, marketing communications, web and IT.
This summer marks our 5th year attending the eduWeb Digital Summit. It’s amazing to see how this event has grown and expanded over time. This year’s schedule includes workshops, presentations and roundtable discussions. Participants can choose from any of the following topics:
- Content and Email Marketing
- Web Tools and Hacks
- Social Media
- Web/Mobile Design & Strategy
- Using Data and Analytics
I’m excited to say that VisionPoint’s very own Zachary Henderson will be presenting a case study from our work Johns Hopkins University Engineering For Professionals. Join us on Tuesday, August 2nd at 9:30 am for our session. Here’s a preview of what we’ll cover:
Marketing to Niche Audiences: How John Hopkins Leveraged A Website Redesign to Recruit Best Fit Students.
Engineering. Business. Divinity. Law. Nursing. Whatever the field, almost every school or program shares a common marketing challenge: how to reach a niche audience. After all, you want students who are not only interested in your unique offering, but who also have the skills, experience, qualifications and sense of purpose that make them the perfect fit. Finding those ideal students requires creativity, innovative thinking and a strategic approach.
Join VisionPoint Marketing as we discuss the strategy behind creating a website to recruit and enroll a highly specialized niche audience using Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professionals as a case study. This session will walk through the research and creation of the website strategy capable of informing audience-focused decisions during information architecture, design and content creation.
Marketers for all types of programs (undergraduate, graduate, technical and beyond) will find value in this session, because every institution has a “best fit” student. The challenge lies in reaching those students by showcasing your unique value in ways that motivate them to take action.
Meet Our Team
In addition to our presentation, you’ll also find VisionPoint in the exhibit hall. Look for the booth with the orange floor and stop by to share your biggest marketing challenges (and pick up a free t-shirt).
At the conclusion of the conference, we’ll tally up the results of what we heard and share our findings with you. Here’s a review of what we found at eduWeb 2015.
We look forward to seeing you in Denver!
