VisionPoint Marketing is a rapidly growing integrated marketing agency, recently ranked in the top 5 best employers in North Carolina and we are looking for an experienced Director of Integrated Marketing to join our growing team. The Director of Integrated Marketing will be responsible for leading the Integrated Marketing team and driving the processes and operations needed to deliver our clients’ needs via our Integrated Marketing offerings.  Integrated Marketing at VisionPoint includes traditional and digital media planning, full funnel engagement including marketing automation and lead nurturing, SEO, social media, CRM integration, and measurement and analytics. As the lead for the Integrated Marketing Team, the Director of Integrated Marketing will be responsible for mentoring and management of team members including digital marketing specialists, media planners, SEO writers, and analysts as well as supporting the sales and marketing team to drive revenue for the company in partnership with Marketing Strategists who are the primary subject matter experts on each proposal. The Director of Integrated Marketing will work closely with other members of the Leadership Team and reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Innovation.  

 

What You Will Do

Leadership of Integrated Marketing Offerings and Team

  • In collaboration with Marketing Strategists, responsible for achieving the client’s strategic brand and business objectives by working with clients to provide them with guidance and working with the internal team to achieve execution of strategies and plans

  • Develop, present and oversee the execution of marketing strategies for all client and VisionPoint projects

  • Responsible for client consultation in partnership with the Account Services team

  • Take ownership and accountability for improving VisionPoint Integrated Marketing processes

  • Maintain subject matter expertise in all Integrated Marketing areas and provide strategic input in collaboration with company leadership in the innovation and vision of Integrated Marketing offerings

  • Provide VisionPoint’s Strategic Partnership team with content and input necessary to propose and close revenue across all Integrated Marketing offerings as well as support Marketing functions in creation of content for the company’s own marketing purposes.

  • Serve a vital role in promoting the integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless delivery of quality work to the client

  • Supervise, mentor and manage all team members of the Integrated Marketing team

Client & Integrated Marketing Strategies and Plans

  • In collaboration with Marketing Strategists, conduct research, develop effective full funnel strategies, create unique media plans (traditional and digital), ensure execution of effective plans and tactics, and deliver on measurement and analysis to prove ROI  

  • Full funnel strategies and plan may include traditional and digital advertising, SEO, email marketing, social media, content marketing and lead nurturing  

  • Oversee or directly manage online/digital media as well as traditional media planning and placement

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize campaign performance

  • Interfaces with Creative and Tech team for content marketing, SEO and ad development and implementation

  • Offer insights/ perspective for website and IA decisions as well as content development and publishing

Analytics & Data Insights

  • Consults with clients regarding KPIs and data capture and reporting

  • Designs and implements lead nurturing workflows

  • Maps engagement processes from content and marketing strategy as well as integration with CRM

  • Plans and manages the implementation of analytics and attribution systems

  • Responsible for marketing execution in both online and traditional channels as well as working with web analytics interfaces, CRMs and various databases / server logs to produce reports  

  • Owning and maintaining site analytics, metrics and reporting

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights  

 

Experience and Education

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills, interest and experience:

  • Partner with the Vice President of Marketing and Innovation to envision and evolve VisionPoint’s analytics offerings.

  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills as a critical, strategic thinker

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or a related field

  • Minimum of 5-7 years related experience in digital marketing

  • Deep understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data

  • Experience with media planning, content marketing, SEM/SEO, PPC advertising, CRM, lead generation(your experience must be direct not that you have hired an agency to do this work)

  • Experience managing and mentoring a team

  • Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and comfortable making decisions

  • Professional demeanor, poise and appearance

  • Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through

  • Consistently drive your team towards the highest standard of quality and efficiency

  • Ability to effectively plan, anticipate and take appropriate action in a proactive manner

  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and strong desire to learn and grow each and every day

Bonus

  • Experience in planning and buying traditional media including radio, television, direct mail and print

  • Experience with quantitative research and analysis
