VisionPoint seeks to add a Web Developer to our dynamic, entrepreneurial staff. The position offers excellent growth and development opportunities. Salary varies depending on experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills as well as be comfortable interfacing with clients.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable with, and have experience in, working with clients and staff to scope projects (including being able to provide estimated timelines and resource needs), writing functional requirements documentation, and providing support documentation for applications they develop. The candidate will possess strong, reliable web programming skills and be well versed in ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, XHTML and JavaScript. The candidate will be highly responsible for scoping, planning, designing, implementing, and training for web and web application projects. Knowledge of ActionScript, mail servers, and W3C validation is a plus. The candidate should have good communication skills and be comfortable consulting with clients.

Ideally, the candidate would also be well versed in troubleshooting existing web applications, network and hardware problems, quickly getting to the bottom of the situation, and recommending a specific solution. The individual should then be able to implement the solution or identify and marshal the resources necessary for implementation.

The candidate should monitor industry technology trends and evaluate emerging technologies. Also, remain current with all product and technology requirements and trends for effective product and service delivery.

Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of three to five years technical experience with concentration on Web Development. Leadership ability, communication skills, experience working on multiple projects a plus.

Software:
Microsoft SQL Server, MS DEV STUDIO, MS Office, MS Outlook, , MS Project, Macromedia Dreamweaver, SendMail.

This is a full time position. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility on both sides to get the work done. Office is relaxed, yet professional atmosphere.
