Job Description

The Account Manager/Project Manager is an entry to mid-level position within the Client Services Department. This individual is charged with acting as the project manager for all work done by VisionPoint on behalf of their assigned clients. This person needs to be extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and accomplished multi-tasker. The person also needs to be able to manage follow-up and support for the client organization.

Responsibilities
  • Interacts with client, especially the day-to-day contact, in support of the Senior Account Manager during the course of a project.
  • Support Business Development and Senior Account Managers in preparation of client proposals and presentations.
  • Work with Production on scoping projects (coding/design needs, timelines, hourly estimates, etc) for proposal development.
  • Work with the Client to ensure appropriate coordination of client and VisionPoint deliverables throughout a project.
  • Work with production and Senior Account Managers to develop time lines, responsibilities, and estimates in Microsoft Project for multi-week and multi faceted Client projects
  • Develop weekly Client progress reports and some times share day-to-day Client contact with Senior Account Manager
  • Develop monthly Client reports with performance statistics against client success criteria.
  • Work with creative and production team members to insure completion of projects within proposed budgets and deadlines
  • Coordinate and prioritize jobs with Account Managers and VP of Creative Strategies to ensure proper distribution of workload
  • Work with entire staff to assess workloads and avoid any bottlenecks
  • Work to schedule adequate time and resources to complete projects accurately.
  • Personally execute certain aspects of jobs as needed, such as email campaign management and recommendations reporting.

Business Knowledge/Skills
  • Demonstrated skill in project management
  • Basic marketing and advertising knowledge
  • Basic quantitative and analytic skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, PPT, Access, ClickTracks, Web Position Gold and other analytic programs as needed.
  • Negotiation/Prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal skills

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience

Mixture of professional experiences, with emphasis in marketing and client relationships
